Does your university as a body have accessible childcare facilities for students which allow recent mothers to attend university courses?

  • BAU Childcare

We believe we can make the world a better place for our children! We have been entrusted with a great responsibility in caring for them. We strive to love and nurture the children while providing them with opportunities to enhance their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

Our objective is to encourage the growth of the whole child through developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities and experiences in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

The Family Service of BAU University will be pleased to help you organize places for your children in its nursery. Please note that this nursey mainly hosts the children of university members including staff, faculty and students.

  • The child day care at BAU hosts 50 children aged from six months till three years old.

  • The rooms are generously equipped with particular play and work equipment (for example creativity room, exercise room, and role play room).

  • The child day care team's goal, as they perceive it, is to provide an atmosphere where the child feels comfortable and secure, where the child can develop.

  • The children are given the opportunity to be independent researchers and explorers.

  • The child have the opportunity to find a balance between peace and quiet and interaction with other children and independent activities.

  • The afternoon shift starts at 2:00 p.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m.

  • Our Goals for Young Children

At BAU Childcare we use a comprehensive educational approach that strives to help children develop in all areas.

Our goals for young children are:

  • To learn through active involvement with people, materials, events, and ideas

  • To become independent, responsible, confident - ready for school and ready for life

  • To learn to plan many of their own activities, carry them out, and talk with others about what they have done and what they have learned

  • To gain knowledge and skills in important academic, social, and physical areas
